SAIN members committed to promoting low carbon agriculture in China
SAIN members of Working Group 1 launched a three-year project to promote low carbon agriculture in China. The project entitled “Improved nutrient management in agriculture: A key contribution to low carbon economy”, is led by Professor David Powlson of Rothamsted Research and Professor Zhang Fusuo of China Agricultural University. The other major partners are the Centre for Chinese Agricultural Policy of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Northwest A&F University, Nanjing Agricultural University, University College London and University of East Anglia of the UK.
The project is funded through Strategic Programme Fund (SPF) under Foreign and Commonwealth Office of UK government.
